# 3D Slicer doesn’t start after Windows Install

3D Slicer doesn’t start after Windows Install. No Error message- just nothing happens. I am using a Lenovo L5 PC, which has the power to run this. I tried:

Creating a C:\slicer folder and installing there. Same issue.

Ensured all my drivers are update including the NVidia drivers. Same issue.

Tried installing like this: Slicer.exe --disable-settings Same Issue.

Is there not a log somewhere that can help find the issue?

I want to just wipe everything out and start over but even when I erase the install folder and resinstall I have the same issue.

Do you see any error related to the Slicer launcher or application if you open Computer management → System Tools / Event Viewer / Windows Logs / Application? (Computer management can be reached for example if you right click the Start button in the toolbar)
