# 3d ultrasound from GE upload in 3d slicer

Dear 3dslicer community

I use slicer 5.8.1 on PC Windows 10 pro

in the past, I imported 3d from Philips into slicer without problem (cartesian dicoms and then 4d philips patch in slicer…).

Now we have GE datasets and I need to learn:

I googled “3d slicer import 3d echo GE“

and I found the link:

Is the procedure with image3dAPI still up to date??

because the last post with precise informations that i found was from august 2023:

Hi have you had any luck loading 3D echo datasets from GE into 3D slicer?
