# Anyone know how to install older versions of VMTK?

I need to install vmtk 1.2 for my research but cannot find it. Anyone know how to help?

You can download VMTK 1.4 binaries from [here](http://www.vmtk.org/download/).

VMTK 1.2 was [released 10 years ago](https://github.com/vmtk/vmtk/releases/tag/v1.2). Maybe conda still has binaries but I’m not sure. The source code is available in github repository, so you can build it for sure, but you need to recreate an ancient development environment.
