# Bump minimum CMake version to 3.28.1?

CMake 3.28.1 shipped with Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. I suggest Slicer bumps it to that version after [5.12 is tagged](https://github.com/Slicer/Slicer/issues/9180). We are strongly considering the same bump [in ITK](https://github.com/InsightSoftwareConsortium/ITK/pull/6381#discussion_r3362664349). Please pitch in with your opinions.
