# Can I use fiducial points to cut unwanted portion of mesh?

Hello everyone,  
I was wondering if there was a way to use a closed curve to cut out a specific section on a very thin (3 voxels) mesh in 3D Slicer? I essentially want to go from something like the first picture to the second picture without having to erase everything around the closed curve manually.
