# Can't open 3d slicer on macbook air m1

help please!  
I’m not able to open the application of 3d slicer on my mac m1. it is downloaded and whenever i click on it it says check your internet connection for updates  
it isnt opening even after redownloading  
helpp

That doesn’t sound like a message Slicer would produce. You typically just need to right-click on the application icon and select open. Maybe you can post screenshots of what you are doing.

When i double click, this is what comes up.  
I’ve tried to delete and redownload. It isnt working.  
The application doesn’t run

That looks like it could be an OS issue or some other app - maybe try copying out of the mounted disk image (drag to desktop or into the Applications folder). Then right click and pick Open.
