# Center of rotation

Is it possible to choose a different center of rotation for a model (in transformation app)

I would recommend to vote on the [existing feature request](https://discourse.slicer.org/t/set-center-of-rotation-for-transform-in-3d-view/14363) and close this. That way the feature request will have more votes and get the developer’s attention sooner.
