# DICOMDatabase problem

Hello.  
Really sorry, but I am “really brand new” in slicer.  
I can’t fix this problem and I need help to continue

“/Users/jotaerre/Documents/SlicerDICOMDatabase/ctkDICOM.sql” cannot be used. Directory is not empty and not an existing DICOM database.  
Please pick a different database directory using the LocalDatabase button in the DICOM Browser  
[DEBUG][Qt] 27.01.2019 18:35:55 [] (unknown:0) - Switch to module: “DICOM”  
[CRITICAL][Stream] 27.01.2019 18:35:55 [] (unknown:0) - The database file path “/Users/jotaerre/Documents/SlicerDICOMDatabase/ctkDICOM.sql” cannot be used. Directory is not empty and not an existing DICOM database.

You need to pick a different database directory using the LocalDatabase button in the DICOM Browser. The directory must be empty and writeable.
