# Difficulty exporting .obj files

Operating system:win 10  
Slicer version:5.2.2  
Expected behavior:Export .OBJ  
Actual behavior:Creates empty 1kb files.

Maybe you have selected a wrong segmentation. Or you haven’t clicked “Apply” button in “Grow from seeds” effect. There can be hundreds of other reasons. If you provide more details (so that we can reproduce exactly what you did) then we can tell what happened and what to do about it.
