# Dynamic Modeler Basics

I am still trying to understand the basics of Slicer.

I think I was able to change segmentation to a model but still not able to get the Dynamic Model functions to work (such as plane cut). I know this is very basic but any help would be great.

If you’ve already clicked apply, you probably just need to hide the existing model/segmentation visibility to see the cut model.
