# Export VTK of CT DICOM

I need to convert DICOM images into a 3d mesh and export a VTK file. I was able to make the mesh and save the VTK file but I need to make sure that it is in a specific format. Polygonal version 4.2 or older in ASCll. Is there a way in slicer to specify the VTK types?
