# Exporting an MRI slice to a flat .obj with preserved coordinates

Hello, I am eternally grateful to you for your hard work. I have a question. I’m trying to collect all the patient’s digital data in one program. In Slicer, I’m trying to do this: I upload an MRI scan and want to get certain slices as a flat 3d object with the texture of this slice, in the coordinates of the MRI slice in obj format. Can you tell me how I can do this? now I’m doing it manually using screenshots(
