# Extract a certain volume from a cubic model

Hey there, i’m new using the 3D Slicer and i need some help, i’ve already created a 3D model and for some researchs i need to put it inside a cubic structure and extract the 3D model Volume from the cube.

You can use Dynamic modeler module’s ROI cut tool that was added a few days ago to Slicer Preview Release.
