# Fiducial awol under 2D view but not 3D

This is due to a new feature that 2D visibility of markups are now taken into account (see details [here](https://discourse.slicer.org/t/fiducial-markups-not-showing-in-4-11-0/6501/6)). You can either switch to a recent Slicer Preview Release or enable 2D visibility for the fiducials manually (by right-clicking on the eye icon of the markups node in Data module).
