why slicer version 5.6.2 freezing on mac M2 by segmentation

We don’t experience such issues. Please try if you can reproduce the behavior in the latest Slicer Preview Release. If yes, then please provide step-by-step instructions that we can follow to reproduce the problem.

Just FYI, I use an M2 mac book air a lot for segmentation and other Slicer tasks and do not see any freezes. It may be that you are running out of memory or something else unique to your data is the core issue.
