# Hepatic vessels segmentation

What is the best way to segment the intrahepatic vasculature? I have a CT with low intravenous contrast. Is there any automated extension ?? I  
Ihave tried with threshold, but I don’t get anything with quality.

Hi,  
You could find useful the following tutorial [Liver vessels](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YjRURvORR5s&t=546s).  
There is this helpful [Segmentation recipe](https://lassoan.github.io/SlicerSegmentationRecipes/VesselSegmentationBySubtraction/) as well. The task is different from yours, but maybe you can find some inspiration. It requires the VMTK extension.
