Hi everyone,

I’m working with volumetric OCT data in **3D Slicer** and would like to generate **en face images**.

Could someone please guide me on:

1. **How to create en face views** from a 3D volume?
2. How to extract or export these en face slices as 2D images (e.g., PNG)?

Any advice or recommended extensions/modules would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

There is more than one way. Look at the top for this button.

 ![image](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex002/uploads/slicer/original/3X/f/4/f4e555c5f26a34387aad37c7124d43f348b71ab0.png)
Click on it and then the upside down triangle next to it.
Then select intersection. Now in the red, green, .. views you can move the lines and perform a reformat to en face. Then you can export to png. Another way is to reformat the whole volume.
