# How to decrease the transparency of the segments in 3D view

Operating system: Linux ubuntu  
Slicer version:4.11  
Expected behavior: Seeing the segments with lower transparency in Slicer  
Actual behavior: Maybe some segments cover each other on the surface

I am seeing two segments in 3D view in Slicer . However, I would like to increase the transparency of the green segment in order to be able to see inside that volume. How can I do it?

You can adjust opacity of the entire segmentation and separately for each segment in Segmentations module.

If you just want to quickly change overall opacity then you can right-click on the eye icon in Data module and move the opacity slider.
