# How to export skull (Only) as OBJ file

Hi, I downloaded the sample PreDentalSurgury CBCT file set and I need to export the skull as .OBJ file.

Please help me and mention what steps need to perform to do this task.

- Go to the Segment Editor.
- Click on “Add”.
- Click on the “Threshold icon”, and adjust the values to encompass the bone (I used “700” as the low end)
- Click Apply
- Click on “Show 3D”
- If the model that shows up looks good, Click on the tiny downward pointing triangle next to the green arrow icon and choose “Export to files”
