# How to hide patient name

Anonymize before uploading to Slicer OR rename patient name in the Data module (double click on name)

If you have your DICOM folder, before importing into Slicer you can use my [anonymization script](https://gitlab.com/opendose/opendose3d/-/blob/develop/OpenDose3D/Logic/CLIScripts/anonymise.py) if you like.

Alternatively, you could save your non-anonymized CT dataset as ct.nrrd file, then close scene and reopen ct.nrrd .

Import the DICOM series to Slicer and just “Save” the series, there is a \*.nrrd option.
