# How to install modules offline

After I downloaded the expansion modules separately, I followed the Slicer software on a computer without internet, and then installed the module. It failed. Please provide detailed description of what you did and the exact text of the complete error message.

Thank you, this is already helpful. Please also provide detailed description of what you did (how did you attempt to install the extension). What Slicer version did you use?
