# How to set the default python of the Mac terminal to slicerpython?

How to set the default python of the Mac terminal to slicerpython?

You can set the path in your shell (search for [things like this](https://stackoverflow.com/questions/11530090/adding-a-new-entry-to-the-path-variable-in-zsh)). The path would be to wherever you installed Slicer, e.g. ` /Applications/Slicer.app/Contents/bin`. Or you could make an alias so that whatever command you want is translated to ` /Applications/Slicer.app/Contents/bin/PythonSlicer`.

我试过了,可是这个python3.6不是开发版呀,可以升级到开发版吗?
