# Increase the size of segment

I want to decrease the size (geometry) of a segment and in the same time i want to keep the relations between the surface of another segment. How can i do that??

You can use [specify geometry button](https://slicer.readthedocs.io/en/latest/user_guide/modules/segmenteditor.html#cannot-paint-outside-some-boundaries) in Segment Editor module to modify the extent.

i can’t find this button. I have the 5.4.0 version

I think the feature was already available in Slicer-5.4, but I’m not sure. Please use the latest Slicer Stable Release or latest Slicer Preview Release, as they contain lots of fixes and improvements.
