# Mac Stable (5.2.1.) reports a crash everytime it is closed

Looks like the same crash as this one: [Slicer quit unexpectedly on MacBook with M1 chip - #3 by Young\_Wang](https://discourse.slicer.org/t/slicer-quit-unexpectedly-on-macbook-with-m1-chip/25989/3) (in `vpx_codec_destroy`).

Do you have the [IGSIO extension](https://github.com/IGSIO/SlicerIGSIO) installed? It provides `libvtkIGSIOCodecs`
