# Maintenance of slicer.kitware.com planned on Thursday April 18th from 2 to 3pm EDT

**Observation**

The upload of packages have been failing consistently for the past few days.

**Mitigation**

Until now, we have been increasing the memory allocated to the PHP process (this was an easy “band-aid” to work around [this issue](https://github.com/midasplatform/Midas/issues/69), this approach is not working any more.

Waiting we have resources to finalize the transition to a robust [Girder](https://girder.readthedocs.io/)-based package manager infrastructure [1], I will look into patching the [slicerpackages](https://github.com/midasplatform/slicerpackages) and [slicerappstore](https://github.com/midasplatform/slicerappstore) midas plugins so that the upload of nightly packages for Slicer extensions and applications are into different folders each month.
