# Merging CT-views

Hi Philip -

This question comes up from time to time - for example the post linked below, or [search for sagittal and coronal in the archives of posts](https://discourse.slicer.org/search?q=sagittal%20coronal).

If you have any control over the scan protocol you can get a higher resolution reconstruction from the scanner, but there’s no good way to combine them after the fact.
