# Model is not showing

Hi

I have another promblem with tool intensity segmenter.  
Once i am done after hitting apply… the model is not showing on the top right (3d view)

Is therr any thing i can do?

Labelmaps cannot be shown in 3D. You need to convert it to a model or segmentation node.

Yes I usually save the file then open it again in Itk-snap and do the segmentation then open it again in 3d slicer and use model maker tool to creat a modrl and save it as .vtk.

But i thought i should get a 3d model in that tap!

Where this intensity segmenter module comes from? If it provides features that are not covered by existing Segment Editor effects then it could be made into a Segment Editor effect with not too much effort.

Since the introduction of Segment Editor module, you should be able to do in Slicer most (or all) segmentation work that previously you had to do in other software. Let us know if you need any help with this.

The Segment Editor module in Slicer can do what ITK-Snap can do and more. Please try it, because this workflow jumping back and forth sounds awfully inconvenient.
