# Model Maker module not producing a model

Hi all, I am on version 5.2.2 on Windows 11 and trying to run Model Maker on a dataset that I segmented. In IO I pick my segmentation, I created a new ModelHierachy, and I click apply. The module runs, but no 3D surface appears in the 3D view. I can get surfaces using Show 3D in the Segmentations module, but I would like more granular control over the model using the Model Maker Parameters and the ability to edit the model using Surface Toolbox.

This appears to generate an output, but I do not know how to access this and I would expect this output to appear in my current scene 3D view.

Probably segmenttions shouldn’t be selectable as input. You can right click on the segmentation in the Data module and convert it to a labelmap and then run the Model Maker on the exported labelmap.
