# move slicerDICOMdatabase

Operating system:win 10  
Slicer version: 4.8.1  
Expected behavior:  
Actual behavior:

simple question. Is it possible to tell slicer to move the dicom database out of documents onto another drive? Thanks

Yes, look for Database Directory on this page:

(need to expand the “More” button to expose directory chooser)
