Problem report for Slicer 5.6.2 win-amd64: [please describe expected and actual behavior]

I have installed SlicerRT.

 ![SlicerExtensionsManager](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex002/uploads/slicer/original/3X/c/7/c782fd4bcdc874a2e232c54eb3e5635e82a0cc05.png)

I have downloaded a sample DICOM RT folder from:
[eclipse-8.1.20-phantom-ent](https://github.com/SlicerRt/SlicerRtData/tree/master/eclipse-8.1.20-phantom-ent)

I add data to the scene and select the folder and try to load the data, but it doesn’t seem to be able to load the DICOM RT plan data. Maybe SlicerRT isn’t installed correctly?

If you open the module selector, is there a Radiotherapy category? If so, what modules are in there?

Thank you for your reply.
I don’t see Radiotherapy.

I thought that maybe I downloaded SlicerRT but forgot to install it, but it seems to be installed.

I uninstalled SlicerRT and reinstalled it and it worked!
I now see the Radiotherapy module and can open the sample data set.
Thanks!

Reviewing here there was no mention of the additional module paths to SlicerRT which is why the Radiotherapy category was not showing because the modules were not specified to load. Maybe @Kenneth_Sutherland, you accidentally removed the SlicerRT entry when you went to add your own Photoimmunotherapy module to the additional module paths? Or you didn’t complete the installation of SlicerRT with a restart of the Slicer application?

I definitely restarted (many, many times) after installing SlicerRT.
It seems I somehow removed SlicerRT when I installed Photoimmunotherapy. I will consult with the developer of the Photoimmunotherapy module here at Hokkaido University.
Thanks again for your help!

I find this unlikely. It is possible that simply the first installation attempt failed. Unfortunately I’m not familiar with the Extensions Manager enough to know what are the events that trigger errors/warnings.

I agree. In fact, I think I installed SlicerRT _after_ Pharmacotherapy.
Anyway, it’s working now, so all is good! 😁

So you just needed to uninstall and reinstall? Just to confirm 🙂 Thanks

Yes, I just reinstalled SlicerRT and it worked. I don’t think it had anything to do with SlicerPIT.

Not “Pharmacotherapy”, I meant “Photoimmunotherapy”.
