# Sandbox extension and Slicer version 5.8.1

Hi all, a little new to slicer. I am trying to create a plane using my three point fiducial list but slicer version 5.8.1 doesn’t have the feature. I installed sandbox and slicerigt extension but I can’t find it in the software neither was I able to create the plane using the coordinate of my three points. I need help regarding this

This is available in 5.8.1. While setting the plane, before you place the first fiducial change the **Plane Setting** Type **Three points** from the the default point normal.
