# Segmentation in Slicer extremely slow when using the Scissors tool in slice view

@Russell_Engelman thanks for reporting this. We want the software to perform well for people, and often there settings or other considerations that may be unique to the way you are using the program.

Would you be able to help solve this by doing the steps I asked for in the issue you linked?
