# Segmentation of the growth plate

So I wanna segment the growth plate with Slicer using python  
The question is can I have slices of the images in the G view and changing the images with Python and I import it again with ImageStacks to do the segmentation . I wanna eliminate a part of the image using python and keep the growth plate , please I need help
