Hi everyone!

I’m working with a head CT scan and would like to segment different tissues, including the skull (bone), brain, soft tissue, skin, and air cavities.

Does anyone know if there is a tool or extension in 3D Slicer that can automatically or semi-automatically segment these structures?

I’ve tried doing the segmentation manually, but I’m not entirely confident that some regions are being classified correctly. I’d really appreciate any recommendations or suggestions!

Thanks in advance!

Nowadays most everyone is either using a pre-trained network like TotalSegmentator, or if they want to have manual control an AI assisted one like NNInteractive.

You can find them in the extension catalogue and there are plenty of tutorials on internet for them.
