# Select cells of a 3D model

To different color for each cell, you can add a new array to the cell data of the polydata (see this [VTK example](https://vtk.org/Wiki/VTK/Examples/Cxx/PolyData/MiscCellData)) and enable scalar visibility in the model display node.
