Is there a way to keep the 3D view but turn off the shading in the Red window in the conventional view?

thanks

If I understand correctly you want to show the whole model in 3D (not just the intersection), but with no shading. You can achieve that by modifying the lighting options

Maybe I should reword- I want to see the 3D view, but just a plain CT window.

thanks

The slice intersection in 3D shows exactly the slice image from the 2D view. If you want to have a slice in 3D without the contour, you need to create such a view in 2D and show that in 3D.

Try using the options marked on the red square of the picture below:

I believe the goal is to keep the contour in 2D but not in 3D.
