# Simulating ultrasound from CT

Hi All,  
I’m trying to get Slicer3D to show a simulated ultrasound view of the spine from a given CT (or MRI) scan and a given ultrasound probe position.  
I found this youtube video and tried to replicate it on a Mac but failed.

I would greatly appreciate any pointers on this project, thanks in advance.
