# Sir can I import 3D slicer file into Ansys Fluent software?

Yes. There are several different approaches (mainly depending on whether you want to generate volumetric mesh from the surface mesh before or after importing into Ansys). See more information in [topics tagged with FEM](https://discourse.slicer.org/tag/fem).
