# Stl model doesn't show in slice view

i imported this stl file for a dental implant to visualize positioning . however object is only shown in the 3d rendering view . and it doesn’t show in the slice itself .

is there a way to make it visible in slice view ?

You need to enable this in the models module: [Models — 3D Slicer documentation](https://slicer.readthedocs.io/en/latest/user_guide/modules/models.html)
