# Surgical planning for lumbar screw placement.

Hi,  
Is there any way to use Slicer 3D for surgical planning of the placement of a lumbar screw? I would like to be able to easily mark up the screw insertion pathway on axial and coronal sections – while being able to account for the width of the screw. I’ve used the path explorer tool but that doesn’t account for screw width. Is there any module, similar to how it is actually done with a Stryker navigation system or other one? Thank you.

You can use pedicle screw simulator and SlIcerIGT for nav.
