# Thick slab reconstruction and maximum/minimum intensity volume projections

@ddii is correct that the example no longer works. The reason and solution are laid out in [2D MIP (maximum intensity projection) not works in Slicer 5.6.1](https://discourse.slicer.org/t/2d-mip-maximum-intensity-projection-not-works-in-slicer-5-6-1/36272).
