# Two Questions Regarding Volume Rendering and Display Issues

I am having trouble with 3D rendering of the brain using Volume Rendering in 3D Slicer. How should I configure the settings? (See first screenshot attached). Also, in the second screenshot, the number of displayed items marked in yellow has somehow decreased. How can I retrieve the original amount of information? Thank you for your assistance!

Somehow you reset the scene after you import the DICOM series? not sure.

Anyways, the easiest way to activate 3D rendering, is to go to the `Data` module and drag’n’drop the specific 3D volume you would like to render into the 3D view window.

I was able to successfully create a 3D model by dragging and dropping into the Data module!  
Thank you very much for your help. 🙇‍♂️
