# Update: Slicer 4.10 release will be initiated tomorrow morning

This is indeed the last step of the release process. See [Publish\_Slicer\_Announcement](https://www.slicer.org/wiki/Documentation/Nightly/Developers/ReleaseProcess#Publish_Slicer_Announcement)
