# Voting plugin enabled for feature request category

Voting plugin is available now and enabled for feature request category. Should we try to use this instead of the current recommendation of adding a “thumbs up” on github? (the adding thumbs-up reaction to issues [hasn’t really been adopted by users](https://github.com/Slicer/Slicer/issues?q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+sort%3Areactions-%2B1-desc))

I think so, the issue tracker does not see nearly as much traffic and exposure as the forum.
