I am a medical oncologist from Hebei Province, China, and my specialty mainly focuses on image-guided minimally invasive treatment of tumors. I am good at radioactive seed implantation(brachytherapy) of tumors, microwave ablation, puncture biopsy, etc. I once studied under Professor Tina at BWH in 2017. I participated in the project of automatic identification of needle tracks in magnetic resonance imaging of cervical cancer brachytherapy. I attended slicer workshop twice when I was in the United States. I am very interested in many of the slicer’s techniques for image-guided puncture. Now I have my own oncology treatment team, which includes 12 doctors, 12 nurses, and 3 physicists. We are well-known in the Chinese academic community for radioactive seed implantation. Our team has published several papers on applying 3D printing templates to guide seed implantation and radioactive seed implantation dosimetry in China. At present, I would like to do some scientific research work in slicer-guided minimally invasive surgery, especially interested in 3D printing, the real-time fusion of ultrasound and CT images, VR-guided puncture surgery, and other aspects. We are eager to cooperate with experts worldwide who have a working foundation in these areas. Our advantage is that we can quickly apply the latest research results to the treatment of patients. I hope the experts who are interested in cooperation can contact me by email. My email address is hongtaozhangmd@163.com
