We should also talk about documentation generation from source code (setting up ReadTheDocs, migrating content).

  • JC is working this week on the documentation and VTK 8.9
    • Documentation - working to transition to ReadTheDocs
  • Over the next week, Slicer devs should self-assign issues from the 4.11 / 5.0 milestone: https://github.com/Slicer/Slicer/milestone/1
    • Unassigned issues should be re-targeted
  • Discussed the role of VTK remote modules going forward (VR, vtkAddon,etc)
  • Discussed estimates of Slicer user/developer base
    • 112 contributors on GitHub
  • Who owns this 3D Slicer YouTube channel?
  • Cppyy demo from Steve
    • Using cppyy to embed fast C++ code into a slicer python script
