Let’s talk about read/write error reporting too. @Lee_Newberg has been looking at https://mantisarchive.slicer.org/view.php?id=4714 and https://github.com/Slicer/SlicerGitSVNArchive/commit/d596340895ed6e54bc164a6715b3b030654129ee. Maybe we can come up with a good overall strategy for user feedback for read/write errors and problematic data.
