Construction of a verticle plane for measurement of canine movement

Expected behavior:
Actual behavior:
To measure the movement of canines on maxillary superimposed models, I want to project the two cusp points to the sagittal plane that is fit to the mid palatine raphe, and measure distance between these projected points. Iv been advised to use the ACPC transform for it. Kindly shed light on how to go about with this methodology.
Iv attached a graphic for visualisation purpose.
