Good morning, I have a doubt as to the extensions that the program can upload. In my case I need to load a cartesian volume file with .vol extension to edit it and convert it into a 3D STL model. Is it possible to do this with 3D Slicer?

Most probably you can use Image3dAPI to load that file. See detailed information here: GitHub - SlicerHeart/SlicerHeart: 3D Slicer extension for cardiac analysis . If you share an example file then I can verify that SlicerHeart can indeed load it.

The volume rendering module documentation should help. Drag-and-drop of volumes from the data tree into views requires recent Slicer Preview Release.
