Merging CT-views

I just got three different files for one CT-scan. Each one contains a different view so there is one file containing the sagittal view in high res, one for axial and one for coronal.
I want slicer to use all of these files when doing segmentations but it always uses only one file creating lower-res versions of the other views out of the file. I assume I’d get better segmentations when using the high-res versions of all views.
Is there a way to create a new file containing all views out of these different files?

Hi Philip -

This question comes up from time to time - for example the post linked below, or search for sagittal and coronal in the archives of posts.

If you have any control over the scan protocol you can get a higher resolution reconstruction from the scanner, but there’s no good way to combine them after the fact.
